There was a day in the late spring of 2014 that was stormy from dawn until two hours before dusk. The first 30 minutes after the storm had cleared offered the most intensely warm, soft lighting I have ever seen. Everyone in my house went outside and just kind of… basked in it. I corrected exposure on these photos – that’s it. The rest is true to life.
